MAINTENANCE AND GUARANTEE

Our coats are made by skilled people here in Quebec. Our company has an excellent reputation, strives to design quality and durable coats, and provide excellent after-sales service, so that every customer is satisfied with his coat and his entire experience. That's why we offer a guarantee on all our products.

THE COATS

For coats, a lifetime warranty covers defects in workmanship or materials, as a result of normal use. The following items are covered by a 4 years warranty from the date of purchase: pressure buttons, zippers, Velcro strips and adjustment buckles.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper maintenance, negligence, normal wear, colors fading or the natural breakdown of materials over time.

It is important to know that the damages not covered under the warranty can still be repaired at our workshop for a reasonable price.

FURS

The fastening system of the fur (snaps) is covered by a 4 years warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover the loss of hair, wear, abrasion, color change, deterioration caused by heat.

REPAIRING YOUR VALANGA COAT

To facilitate monitoring and to qualify for the warranty from date of purchase, we invite each customer to fill out the warranty card that is on our website. It is also possible to keep the invoice.

The warranty does not cover products that have been modified in any way.

Shipping costs are taken care of by the customer. The return costs are taken care of by Valanga, if it is understood that the service is covered by the warranty. In the case of a repair at the customer's expense, the latter will have to pay shipping round trip. Valanga cannot be held responsible for any loss due to delivery.

For repair, the customer simply send his coat to our workshop with contact information (full address, phone and email address), description of the work that needs to be done, and a copy of the invoice. Out of respect for employees, the coat should be freshly cleaned. Otherwise, a cleaning fee will be charged to the customer. It is possible to drop of the coat in person, or mail it to the following address:

How to properly maintain your Valanga coat

Never opt for dry cleaning your coat.

NEVER CLEAN YOUR REAL FUR CAP. For older models, whose fur was sewn, wash fabric of the cap with a slightly damp, soapy cloth.

If you have a model with Velcro wrist, make sure to attach the male side to the female side, so it does not damage the fabric of your coat.

DRYING

Hang the coat on a hanger, outdoors, away from any heat source.

Return policy

Your satisfaction is important to us, so if for any reason whatsoever, your purchase does not meet your expectations, you can return the product within 10 days of receipt. We will refund or send you a product of a different color, a new size or a different model. When you return a product, it must be accompanied by the original receipt and an explanatory note. To cover the costs of return, for any product from Canada, we will deduct $20 from your refund. All item must be returned or exchanged in its original condition (unwashed and unworn, with the original label).

BEFORE returning a product, you MUST contact Customer Service by email to get an authorization number, to the following address: info@valanga.ca. You will receive a free return label to ship your package by Canada Post.

ORDER CANCELLATION

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact our customer service as soon as possible to check the status of your order. If the latter is still in process, it will be possible to cancel it. If you need to contact us outside opening hours, please contact info@valanga.ca and indicate in the subject line: "ORDER CANCELLATION No. 0012345".

Refund

Upon reception of returned products, a credit of the amount of the purchase will be placed on the credit card used in the transaction, provided that the products are returned in the same state in which they were during shipping.

Order Processing Time

Once your order placed on the website, processing times vary between 1 to 2 working days. Our team processes orders Monday through Friday. They must verify personal or credit card information before accepting an order. A confirmation will be sent at the time of shipment. In a case your item is out of order, someone will inform you and offer alternative options to best meet your needs.

Products description

We make it a point to provide accurate information on our website. However, the human factor in, we cannot guarantee that product descriptions or other site content are complete, current, or error-free. If a proposed product does not meet its description, the only recourse you have is to return it in its original state.

Prices and Taxes

All prices are in Canadian dollars and applicable taxes, according to the shipping address, are extra. All orders are payable in Canadian dollars. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.

We cannot be held liable for payment problems related to the operation of e-commerce service.

Costs and delivery time in Canada

Free shipping with the purchase of a coat. The shipping time is between 3 and 10 working days (varies on region of Canada and the Province). Surcharges may apply for shipping exceptional items, according to their size, weight or distance of the delivery address. In such a case, you will be notified before sending your package. Additional fees apply if you need a FAST and PRIORITY service. Additional time should be considered if an item is out of order. However, if that is the case, you will be notified.

Costs and delivery time outside of Canada

For any product delivered outside Canada, the customer is responsible for all shipping fees and customs clearance, and well as other costs related to exports. You will be notified prior to shipment, of the charges for delivery.

REPAIRING A VALANGA COAT

To extend the life of your Valanga coat, do not hesitate to ask for those who know best! Once you have obtained an authorization number from the customer service, you can send your coat to the repair shop. A member of our team will contact you shortly to provide an estimate cost for the repair.

If the repair is covered by warranty, you will only pay the shipping costs towards the workshop. Return costs will be taken care of by Valanga. To learn more about Valanga's warranty, visit the section MAINTENANCE AND GUARANTEE.

Make sure your coat arrives freshly washed at the workshop, out of respect for the people who have to handle it.
