WARRANTY CARD

Our coats are made by skilled people here in Quebec. Our company has an excellent reputation, strives to design quality and durable coats, and provide excellent after-sales service, so that every customer is satisfied with his coat and his entire experience. That's why we offer a guarantee on all our products.

THE COATS

For coats, a lifetime warranty covers defects in workmanship or materials, as a result of normal use. The following items are covered by a 4 years warranty from the date of purchase: pressure buttons, zippers, Velcro strips and adjustment buckles.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper maintenance, negligence, normal wear, colors fading or the natural breakdown of materials over time.

It is important to know that the damages not covered under the warranty can still be repaired at our workshop for a reasonable price.

FURS

The fastening system of the fur (snaps) is covered by a 4 years warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover the loss of hair, wear, abrasion, color change, deterioration caused by heat.

 

REPAIRING YOUR VALANGA COAT

To facilitate monitoring and to qualify for the warranty from date of purchase, we invite each customer to fill out the warranty card that is on our website. It is also possible to keep the invoice.

The warranty does not cover products that have been modified in any way.

Shipping costs are taken care of by the customer. The return costs are taken care of by Valanga, if it is understood that the service is covered by the warranty. In the case of a repair at the customer's expense, the latter will have to pay shipping round trip. Valanga cannot be held responsible for any loss due to delivery.

For repair, the customer simply send his coat to our workshop with contact information (full address, phone and email address), description of the work that needs to be done, and a copy of the invoice. Out of respect for employees, the coat should be freshly cleaned. Otherwise, a cleaning fee will be charged to the customer. It is possible to drop of the coat in person, or mail it to the following address:

HOW TO PROPERLY MAINTAIN YOUR VALANGA COAT

Never opt for dry cleaning your coat.

NEVER CLEAN YOUR REAL FUR CAP. For older models, whose fur was sewn, wash fabric of the cap with a slightly damp, soapy cloth.

If you have a model with Velcro wrist, make sure to attach the male side to the female side, so it does not damage the fabric of your coat.

DRYING

Hang the coat on a hanger, outdoors, away from any heat source.
